Mike Davis transfered from Iowa Central Community College to Lambuth University and is majoring in Heath and Human Performance.In his spare time Mike enjoys listening to music, playing ping-pong and playing video games. He is the son of Veronica Davis and has three sisters named Nicole, Dawnelle and Bridget.
In his Freshman season at Iowa Central Mike played in 56 games and hit .358, while leading the team in
Slugging %- 603, On Base %-466, Home Runs-10 and Total Bases-91. He helped lead the team to the NJCAA World Series 7th place finish in the Nation.
Mike just completed his junior season with the Lambuth Baseball program. For the second consecutive season Mike played in every game for the Eagles. The 6'1 220 first baseman from Minnetonka, MN helped lead Lambuth to a 35-20 record. Appearing in all 55 games he hit .364 in 187 AB's. He scored 53 runs and had 68 hits. He led the team with 131 total bases and had a slugging percentage of .701. He led the Eagles with 17 home runs and 48 RBI's. Mike was named to the A.I.I. All-Conference team.
Mike went to high school at Hopkins Senior High, as a two year starter he was awarded All-Conference, All-State, All-Metro and was elected to 2 State All-Star games in his senior season.
Mike is excited to continue his career at Lambuth and he hopes to see time at third or first base.
