2020: Worked his way into the most innings on the pitching staff (12.1) of any of the Owls’ true freshmen… Appeared in five games overall, all out of the bullpen… First reliever called in the opening game of the season against nationally-ranked Texas, and pitched a steady 3.0 innings where he allowed a run on two hits and had a strikeout… Fired a pair of scoreless innings at west coast power UC Irvine, then registered his first Division I victory with a career-long 4.1 shutout frames and career-best three strikeouts against Missouri State… Closed out the abbreviated season holding opposing hitters to a composite .205 batting average, the second-best mark on the staff (minimum 6.0 innings).
