Biography:

Infielder Cody Cleveland, a sophomore from Southern Illinois University, will take the field for the Generals after a solid shortened season in 2020 at Northeast Texas Junior College. Cleveland appeared in 20 games with 64 at-bats, 26 hits, scored 23 runs, with a triple, five home runs, 15 runs batted in, 10 stolen bases and a .406 batting average.

The Victoria Generals would like to congratulate infielder Cody Cleveland for being selected as TCL Hitter of the Week. Cody had a standout week going 9 for 20 on the week (.450 batting average) with a home run, five runs scored, four runs batted in, two walks and a pair of stolen bases. The solid week pushed Cody's batting average up .42 on the week and moved him to 4th in hitting in the TCL. Cody now sports a .304 batting average on the season.
