Stuart Springer will be returning for his second season with the Generals. Last season, Springer appeared in 15 games (6 starts) 45.1 innings with a 3.97 ERA and a record of 3-1 with one save. On July 19, 2014, Springer threw a no-hitter for the Generals as they beat the Texas Marshals by a score of 3-0. It was only the second no-hitter ever thrown by a Generals pitcher and the only one in the Texas Collegiate League in 2014.
