Biography:

Hunter Hearn, a right-handed sophomore , is in his second season at Sam Houston State. As a freshman, Hearn appeared in 47 games (39 starts) for Sam Houston with a .265 batting average with four doubles, two triples and a pair of home runs. For the Generals in 2016, Hearn appeared in 23 games, hit .275 with 22 hits, seven doubles, 10 RBI's and 14 walks. Hearn is currently the team leader this season in hitting with a .366 batting average and 11 extra base hits and an on-base percentage of .440.
