High School - A 2012 graduate of Klein Oak High School in Spring, Tex., north of Houston... Honorable mention All-Greater Houston selection as a senior after batting .402 with 21 RBI and 18 runs scored in 31 games... Four-year starter who was a two-time first-team, and two-time second team, all-District 13-5A selection as a middle infielder... Named the team MVP as senior and received the Panthers' Golden Glove Award in each of his four years with the program... Helped lead the team to the area round of the 2012 state playoffs... Lifted the squad to a 28-win season and to the 5A Region II finals as a junior... Hit .400 with nine home runs, 15 doubles and ten stolen bases in 2011.
