Trey Valka is a right handed pitcher from Spring, TX who attends Wharton Junior College. Valka appeared in five games for Wharton during the shortened 2020 season where he threw 26 innings, striking out 35, composing a 4.15 ERA and going 2-1 in the win/loss column. In high school, Valka was one of the top rated prospects in Texas where he attended Oak Ridge. Valka played for the EvoShield Canes, one of the top travel teams in the country. For the Canes, Valka really showed out with a fastball that reached 92 mph which helped him become 52nd overall prospect in the state of Texas according to Perfect Game. Valka has a strong chance to start several games for the Generals this summer.
