Deryk Serbantez, a sophomore from Lake Jackson, TX, will primarily pitch for the Generals with occasional starts as a utility player. Congratulations to Deryk Serbantez for being named City Mortgage Player of the Week for the second week on the season. Deryk had two outstanding outings on the week throwing 12.0 innings, with 20 strikeouts. Deryk came into a bases loaded situation in the first inning and worked out of trouble and went on to throw7 strong innings to get the win. He was 1-0 on the week.
