Previous School: Jones played one season at Blinn College for coach Harvey McIntyre…as a sophomore, hit. 361 with two home runs, 11 doubles, two triples, 12 RBIs, 36 runs and 12 stolen bases to earn first-team all-conference honors…made the Dean’s List in the fall semester and the President’s List in the spring semester…went to the NJCAA World Series with Cisco College as a freshman.
High School: Was a two-year starter at Ridge Point High School for coach Clinton Welch…was a second-team all-district pick in 2015…named first-team all-district and first-team all-region in 2014...ran cross country as a freshman…made the honor roll throughout high school.
