After a back-and-forth battle with the Sod Squad, the game would end in a tie in extra innings as mother nature would once again put an end to the game due to heavy rain and hail in the 10th inning. The game would revert back to the last completed inning which would take the score to 8-8 from the 9th inning.

After the Generals scored two runs in the top of the ninth, Amarillo Sod Squad answered with two of their own. The Generals scored when Cody Cleveland singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run and Adam Becker's sac fly scored one run for Victoria Generals. Amarillo Sod Squad then answered when Peyton McGregor homered on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs.

The Generals put up four runs in the seventh inning, including sacrifice flies by Cleveland and Steven Rivas and a home run from Hayden Johnson. On the evening, the Generals had two home runs from Johnson in the seventh and Travis Faix getting things started in the first inning.

The Generals tallied eight hits in the game. Tyler Wulfert and Johnson all managed multiple hits for the Generals. Johnson and Wulfert each collected two hits to lead the Generals. Saturday night will be the final game of the five game series. The Generals return to Riverside Stadium on Wednesday and take on the Sod Squad in a two game series.
