The Victoria Generals recently wrapped up thier sixth season in the Texas Collegiate League. Even though the season is over, the organization’s presence is still being felt around the community through their 2014 season partnerships.
One of the Generals longest standing partners, Mr. Payroll Check Cashing, donated $2,100 to the Victoria Christian School on Monday afternoon as part of their 2014 sponsorship fulfillment with the Generals.
Mr. Payroll Check Cashing was the Official Home Run Sponsor of the Victoria Generals 2014 season. The Generals hit 21 home runs as a team during the season. As an added bonus this year, Mr Payroll Check Cashing upped the donation from $50 per home run to $100 per home run!
Bruce and Sandy Hill, the operators of the four Mr. Payroll Check Cashing locations in Victoria, presented Catherine Key, the administrator of Victoria Christian School, with the check at VCS on Monday afternoon. Generals’ Vice President and General Manager, Mike Yokum, was on hand as well for the presentation.
