Your Victoria Generals look to finish their home game portion of the 2014 season with a two game series against the Woodlands Strykers on Thursday and Friday, and a two game series against the Acadiana Cane Cutters on Saturday and Sunday.
Thursday, July 31, is a Compadres Ink Thirsty Thursday. All 12oz draft beer will be a $1 and tumbler refills will be $2.50. Thursday night is also “Purple out the Park”. The Generals and Senior Helpers team up to present “Purple out the Park” to help make awareness of Alzheimer's and the effects it has on life. Please join us, as we will be raffling off prizes, having a tail gate party starting at 6:00, and of course raising awareness about Alzheimer's. BE SURE TO WEAR PURPLE, and GO GENERALS!
Friday August 01, The Generals will don a pink breast cancer awareness jersey as they look to “Strikeout Cancer”! The jerseys will be auctioned off after the game, with proceeds going to the fight against cancer. Chick-fil-A will have the cow present and have prizes to give away throughout the night. The Generals will also have buckshot present to take pictures and play games with the kids. It is also $1 hot dogs and 16oz fountain drinks that night!
Saturday August 02, is Fast Stop/Ozarka Night at the park! Fans can visit any Fast Stop location in Victoria, to pick up a FREE General Admission Ticket to the game! Sunday August 03, is LASERWORLD Baseball Card Night (Set #3). The first 200 fans in attendance will receive a pack of five Victoria Generals Baseball Cards presented by LASERWORLD!
Sunday’s game is also Speedy Stop Sunday. If the Generals win on Sunday, fans can redeem their ticket for a free breakfast or lunch taco with the purchase of a fountain drink at Speedy Stop any day this week. The Generals will head out on the road to finish out the 2014 season.
