Baseball has returned in Victoria, as the Generals prepare to host a double-header tonight at Riverside Stadium starting at 6:05pm. They will take on the Acadiana Cane Cutters after yesterdays game was postponed due to weather. These two teams come into this matchup with one win a piece against each other after playing last week in Acadiana. The Generals are currently a half game back from the 1st place Brazos Valley Bombers and two games ahead of Acadiana who are in 3rd place in the TCL Standings. The Generals come into tonight on a four game winning streak and will look to strengthen their lead against the Cane Cutters and close the gap between the Bombers.
Tonight is "Baseball Card Giveaway Night" Presented by Laserworld Victoria, the first 200 fans in the park will receive a pack of Generals baseball cards upon entry. It is also "Dollar Hot Dog and 16oz Fountain Drink Night" Presented by Pepsi!
Tomorrow nights promotion will be "Diamonds on the Diamond" Presented by Torin Bales of Victoria, the first 100 women 18 and older will be entered in a drawing for prizes to be given out during the game. One of those prizes will be a stunning piece of jewelry from Torin Bales! We will also have prizes from the following: Days Gone Bye, Homewood Suites, Curves, YMCA, Woodhouse Day Spa, Devereux Gardens, Pizazz, and your Victoria Generals.
