A heavy afternoon rainstorm in Lafayette, Louisiana on Monday forced a postponement of the Victoria Generals regularly scheduled game against the Acadiana Cane Cutters. The two teams will make up the contest as a part of a double header the next time the two teams are scheduled to meet in Lafayette on Wednesday, August 1.
The Generals will have a day off on Tuesday before continuing on their week-long stretch of road games. The team will head to The Woodlands to play the Strykers on Wednesday and Thursday before continuing onto Kilgore to take on the East Texas Pump Jacks on Friday and Saturday.
The Generals next scheduled home games are on Sunday, July 22 as the Generals will host the Strykers in a double header that day starting at 5:00pm. It will be the Generals annual Diamonds on the Diamond event presented by Torin Bales Fine Jewelry that Sunday night during the second game of the double header.
