The Victoria Generals fell behind 6-0 early in Wednesday night's game against the Acadiana Cane Cutters. In the eighth inning, the Generals caught up to tie the game at 8-8, but the Cane Cutters came right back in the ninth and scored a run to win 9-8.
It was the fourth loss in a row for the Generals as they fell to 5-8 on the season. The Cane Cutters improved to 6-5.
The two teams will meet again on Thursday night at 7:05pm at Riverside Stadium in Victoria. It will be Thirsty Thursday at the park with $1 draft beer all game long on the Buffalo Wild Wings party deck.
