The Victoria Generals defeated the East Texas Pump Jacks 6-4 on Tuesday night to remain in first place in the overall TCL standings. The Generals received another solid outing from starting pitcher Michael Oros who picked up his fourth win of the summer, pitching six innings, only allowing two runs on four hits while striking out three. Kolt Browder picked up his fourth save of the season. The Generals were led at the plate by 2009 TCL MVP Mark Hudson who went 4-for-5 on the night with a double and two RBI. Conner Mach added his fourth home run of the season as well to aid the General's offense. The Generals are now 27-14 on the season and the Pump Jacks are 27-17. The Generals have Wednesday off before heading out on their final road trip of the season. The Generals will finish the regular season with back-to-back home games on Sunday and Monday. Both games are at 7:05pm at Riverside Stadium in Victoria.
