The Victoria Generals six-game winning streak was snapped on Monday night as they fell to the Brazos Valley Bombers 7-6. The Generals came close to a comback as they scored a single run in each of the final four innings of play, but it wasn't quite enough. All but one player in the General's starting lineup had at least one hit in the ballgame. The Generals committed four errors in the ballgame, three of which came in the third inning which led to four of the Bomber's runs. The Generals are now 26-14 on the season and still in first place by a half-game over the Bombers and the East Texas Pump Jacks. The Bombers improved to 29-18. The Generals return home on Tuesday night to host the East Texas Pump Jacks. It's Free Ticket Tuesday at the General's game sponsored by Ozarka. All fans who present an Ozarka water bottle at the gate will get in for free.
