Joseph Dvorsky had another solid outing on the mound for the Victoria Generals as he picked up his sixth win of the season on Sunday night as the Generals shutout the Bombers by a final score of 12-0. Dvorsky received plenty of run support in the game as the Generals scored early and often throughout the night. The Generals offense was paced by third baseman Lawton Langford who went 3-for-4 with two doubles, four RBI, and a run scored. Trace Knoblauch and Jeramie Marek each had three hits and two runs scored apiece as well. The Generals improved their first place recored in the overall standings in the Texas Collegiate League to 26-13 as the second place Bombers fell to 28-18. The Generals and Bombers will meet again on Monday night for the second game of the two-game series starting at 7:05pm in Bryan. The Generals return home on Tuesday night to host the East Texas Pump Jacks. It will be another Free Ticket Tuesday, this time sponsored by Ozarka. All fans that present an Ozarka water bottle at the gate will receive a free general admission ticket to the game. Also, be sure to reserve you General's playoff tickets as well!
