The Victoria Generals had a big offensive night on Thursday as they defeated the McKinney Marshals 12-3 in the first game of a two-game series. The Generals were led at the plate by Mark Hudson who went 2-for-3 with a three run homerun, two runs scored, and a walk. Conner Mach also had a big night for the Generals reaching base in all five of his plate appearances, going 3-for-3 with a double, three RBI, three runs scored, and two walks. Michael Oros picked up the win on the mound for the Generals, pitching five innings and only allowing one run on two hits while striking out four batters. The Generals improved to 23-13 on the season as the Marshals fell to 16-22. The Generals and Marshals will meet for game two of the series on Friday night at 7:05pm at Riverside Stadium in Victoria. The Generals will honor all of their hometown heroes on Friday night, so be sure to get to the park early to take part in the pre-game festivities.
