Joseph Dvorsky picked up his fifth win on the season as the Generals cruised to an 8-2 win over the first-place Brazos Valley Bombers on Sunday night. It was Dvorsky's first game back on the mound since his no-hitter just a week ago. While Dvorsky was sharp on the mound once again, he only recorded three strikeouts on the night compared to his 18 on the night of his no-hitter. The Generals offense had another solid night at the plate led by third baseman Brian Nephew. Nephew was 3-for-4 on the night with two RBI and a run scored. Jeramie Marek had two hits and two RBI as well. Kolt Browder pitched the final two innings for the Generals, recording six outs all on strikeouts. The Generals improved to 22-13 as the Bombers fell to 26-15. The Generals are now just one game back of the Bombers in the TCL standings. The Generals return to action on Tuesday night as they host the McKinney Marshals at 7:05pm at Riverside Stadium in Victoria.
