The Victoria Generals defeated the North Texas Copperheads on Tuesday night by a final score of 7-2 at Riverside Stadium in Victoria. Starting pitcher Lee Colon picked up his first win as a Generals to improve his record to 1-2 on the season. Roman Madrid picked up his third save by pitching the final three innings of the game without allowing a run or a hit. The Generals were led at the plate by Andrew Russell, Brian Nephew, Kyle Arnsberg, and Micheal Neimann as they each had two hits apiece. Nephew and Niemann each had two RBIs as well. The Generals improved to 19-12 on the season as the Copperheads fell to 10-22. The Generals will play at home again on Wednesday night as they host the Alexandria Aces starting at 7:05pm.
