Tonight's game between the McKinney Marshals and Victoria Generals at Riverside Stadium in Victoria has been postponed due to rain. The Generals and the Marshals will now play a double header tomorrow (Friday, July 9) beginning at 6:00pm at Riverside.
The Generals have gone ahead and added an extra home date to their schedule to make up for missing out on Reggy the Purple Party Dude coming to town tonight. The Generals will now take on the North Texas Copperheads this Saturday, July 10, beginning at 7:05pm here in Victoria at Riverside Stadium. Reggy the Purple Party Dude has been rescheduled and will be at the game that night to entertain the crowd all night long! Because of the rain out of tonight's Thirsty Thursday event, the Generals will also have $1 draft beer on the party deck all game long on Saturday!
Fans who had tickets to tonight's game will be able to redeem them at the gate for any of the General's other regular season games left on the schedule.
On a related note, in the third poll of the summer released by Perfect Game CrossChecker, the Victoria Generals have moved up to #24 in the nation.
