Tonight's game between the Victoria Generals and North Texas Copperheads scheduled for a 7:00pm start in Coppell has been canceled due to heavy rain in the Dallas area. The Generals will return to action on Thursday as they take on the Brazos Valley Bombers on the road in Bryan. The Generals will then return home to play on Friday and Saturday as they close out the first-half of the regular season against the Texas Tomcats and North Texas Copperheads. The Generals will be looking to clinch the first-half TCL championship which is awarded to the team with the best record at the All-Star break. The first-half champion clinches an automatic bearth into the TCL playoffs at the end of the season. The Generals are currently 13-7 on the season and in first place. The Bombers are a half game behind the Generals at 13-8. The East Texas Pump Jacks are in third place with a 13-9 record while the Texas Tomcats are in fouth place with a record of 11-11.
