After narrowly beating the Alexandria Aces twice in the previous two games, the Victoria Generals routed the Aces 12-2 tonight to complete the three-game series sweep on the road. The Generals offense was red hot all night as they scored early and often. The entire starting lineup for the Generals except for one player had at least one hit on the night. Starting pitcher Michael Oros was solid on the mound, going seven strong innings, only giving up one run on three hits while striking out five to pick up his first win of the season. The Generals took over sole possession of first place in the Texas Collegiate League as they improved their record to 11-6. The Aces fell to 4-12. The Generals will continue on their road trip as they head to McKinney to play the Marshals tomorrow night at 7:00pm.
