The Victoria Generals were defeated on the road tonight by the Texas Tomcats by a final score of 4-1. Blake Payne took the hard luck loss for the Generals, despite pitching a great game. Payne only gave up one earned run on the night as the Generals had back-to-back errors in the fifth inning that led to three unearned runs. Michael pair was 2-for-3 on the night with a double and an RBI. The Tomcats improved to 8-8 in the TCL standings while the Generals fell to 8-6. The Generals next stop on the road trip is a three-game series with the Alexandria Aces.
