The Victoria Generals piled up 14 hits on the night, but were unable to convert enough of them into runs as they were defeated by the Brazos Valley Bombers 3-2. The Generals had the tieing run on 3rd and the winning run on 2nd with one out in the ninth, but Bomber's closer Cameron Dulling struck out the last two batters he faced to end the game. The Generals were led at the plate by shortstop Brendan McGaheran who went 4-for-5 on the night with an RBI and a run scored. The Generals have a five-game roadtrip ahead of them before they return home on Saturday, June 26 to face the Bombers again.
