The Generals piled up 11 hits, 13 walks, and were aided by four errors by the East Texas Pump Jacks as the Generals won tonight's ballgame 13-4. The Generals had RBIs from eight different players which lead to their 13 runs. Starting pitcher Michael Oros went 4.1 innings, stirking out seven Pump Jack's hitters before giving way to John Kordsmeier who picked up the win in relief. Kordsmeier only allowed one hit in 2.2 innings of work while striking out two batters. Ryan Turner came on to shutdown the Pump Jacks for the final two innings, striking out four batters. The Generals remain atop the TCL standings with a record of 7-4 while the Pump Jacks fall to 6-6. The Generals will host the Brazos Valley Bombers tomorrow night at Riverside Stadium in Victoria for the first game of a two-game series. Game time is 7:05pm.
