The Generals lost a close one tonight at Riverside Stadium to the Texas Tomcats. The Generals built a 4-0 lead in the first three innings before surrendering seven runs in the top of the fourth inning. The Generals left the bases loaded in the eighth and ninth innings, causing them to suffer their second consecutive loss, 8-6. The Tomcats got their first win in franchise history. Casey Grayson got the win on the mound for the Tomcats. The Generals are now 2-2 in Texas Collegiate League play while the Tomcats move to 1-2. The Generals will hit the road for a four game trip beginning on Tuesday June 8 and will return home on Saturday June 12 to host the Alexandria Aces.
