Generals Announce 2011 Ticket Prices11/22/2010 1:40 PM
The Victoria Generals have announced that their ticket prices for the 2011 summer season will not increase from their 2010 prices. Season tickets will go on sale December 15 and will be available for purchase online at www.VictoriaGenerals.com, by phone at 361-485-9522, or at the team store located at 3708 N. Navarro, Suite A.
“We are excited to announce that we will be keeping our ticket prices the same this season,” commented Blake Koch, the Generals GM. “We expect to have around the same number of home games as we did last season, and therefore, we do not see the need to increase our prices.”
The Victoria Generals, winners of the 2010 Texas Collegiate League Championship, played 31 home games last summer, all at Riverside Stadium. The TCL is expected to release its 2011 schedule in January.
The TCL announced the addition of an eighth franchise, the Acadiana Cane Cutters of Lafayette, Louisiana, back in September. With the addition, the TCL expects to play a 56-game regular season again in 2011.
“The TCL continues to grow and get stronger every year and we’re looking forward to the opportunity and the challenge of being the first team in TCL history to win back-to-back championships,” Koch stated. “The community of Victoria has shown tremendous support for our organization the first two years and we are looking forward to a third great season.”
