Parker Osburn, a freshman from League City, TX, will be behind the plate this season for the Generals. Osburn was a standout catcher from Clear Creek High School as a senior and was selected First Team All-District 24-6A, Preseason All-Greater Houston team as well as Perfect Game Honorable Mention All-America.  Osburn is coming off an injury and is now ready to begin playing for the Rice Owls.

CITY MORTGAGE GROUP PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Congratulations to Parker Osburn for being selected as the City Mortgage Player of the Week (7/9-7/16). On the week, Parker appeared in four games, with 13 at bats, six hits, scored three runs, one double, one RBI and a team leading batting average of .462 on the week. Parker also showed his flexibility playing a solid second base while also picking up his usual catching duties on the week. Congratulations again to Parker.
